PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 20 July 2026
Qick helps you check content before you spend your attention on it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Qick is operated by Blanktriangle. In this policy, “Qick”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Qick app, website and related services.
The short version
We collect the information needed to run Qick, score content, manage your account, process subscriptions, protect the service and improve the product.
Public links you Qick may be scored, stored and reused so the same public content does not need to be rescored repeatedly.
Your personal Qick history, private checks, notes, ratings, goals and account details are part of your private account experience.
We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
We collect different types of information depending on how you use Qick.
Account information
When you create an account or sign in, we may collect information such as your email address, authentication provider, user ID, account settings, membership status and login-related information.
Content you submit to Qick
When you Qick a public link, we collect the URL and information needed to score it. This may include the title, source, description, thumbnail, caption, platform, visible metadata and public preview information.
When you use private screenshot/image checks or private logs, we collect the image, screenshot, text or notes you choose to submit, along with the score and related activity.
Qick activity and feedback
We collect information about your Qick activity, such as the content you checked, Qick Scores, Value/Bait/Cost signals, whether you opened, skipped or saved content, how it felt afterwards, notes, goals, usage counts and product interactions.
Payment and subscription information
If you upgrade to Qick Plus, payments are handled by our subscription and payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details.
We may receive subscription information such as your plan, membership status, renewal date, cancellation status, transaction identifiers and billing provider references.
Technical and usage information
We may collect technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, approximate location derived from technical signals, pages viewed, error logs, performance data, security events and cookies or similar technologies.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide and operate Qick

- show your Qick results, Home page and My Qicks history
- manage Free and Qick Plus limits
- process subscriptions and membership status
- support private screenshot/image checks
- save your feedback, notes and goals
- improve scoring quality, product experience and reliability
- protect Qick from abuse, spam, unsafe content and security risks
- provide support and respond to requests
- comply with legal, tax, accounting and operational requirements
Public links and private activity
Qick treats public content and personal activity differently.
Public links:
When you Qick a public URL, Qick may store the content item, public metadata, score and related snapshot. We may reuse public link scores so the same public content does not need to be rescored unnecessarily.
Private activity:
Your personal Qick history, opened/skipped/saved status, notes, ratings, goals, private screenshot/image checks and private logs are tied to your account and are not shown publicly as part of the normal product experience.
AI scoring and moderation
Qick uses AI services to help score content, analyse public previews, process private image checks, and detect unsupported or unsafe content.
Depending on what you submit, we may send relevant information to AI providers, such as URLs, titles, descriptions, captions, thumbnails, preview images, screenshots or text entered by you.
AI scoring is used to provide Qick Scores, Value/Bait/Cost signals, summaries, safety checks and related product features. Qick is not a fact checker and does not guarantee that content is true, false, safe, harmful or suitable for your situation.
Private screenshot and image checks
Qick Plus may allow you to upload or submit screenshots and images for private checks.
We use these submissions to provide your private result, store your private activity if applicable, support your account experience, and protect the service from unsupported or unsafe content.
Private screenshots and image checks are not public link scores. They are treated as user-specific activity.
Cookies and analytics
Qick may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, protect the service, understand product usage and improve performance.
Some cookies are necessary for the service to work. Others may help us understand how Qick is used so we can improve the product.
Payments
Qick Plus subscriptions are processed by third-party payment and subscription providers.
Those providers may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies and terms. Qick receives the information needed to confirm your membership status, manage access and provide support.
We do not store your full card number or full payment credentials.
When we share information
We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate Qick, including hosting, database, authentication, storage, analytics, AI processing, moderation, payment, subscription, email, support and security providers.
We may also share information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, to investigate abuse or security issues, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Qick, operate the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations and support legitimate business purposes.
Public content scores and metadata may be retained and reused to avoid repeated scoring of the same public content.
Private account information, Qick history, notes, goals and private checks are generally kept while your account is active, unless you delete them or request deletion where available.
Some records may be retained for longer where needed for security, billing, dispute resolution, backups, legal compliance or audit purposes.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect Qick and the information we process.
