DATA AND ACCOUNT DELETION
Delete Qick data or your account
Effective date: 20 July 2026
This page explains how to delete some of your Qick data without closing your account, or how to delete your entire Qick account. It also describes what is removed and what may be retained. Qick is operated by Blanktriangle.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can remove individual Qick results (including private screenshot/image checks) while keeping your account:
- Open the Qick app and sign in.
- Open a Qick result you want to remove (from Home, My Qicks, or a result link).
- Choose Delete Qick and confirm.
- That Qick is removed from your personal history. Your account stays active.
Deleted results are removed from your personal history in the app. Related records may still exist briefly in backups or where needed for security or legal reasons.
If you cannot use the app and want specific personal data removed without deleting your account, email qickcontact@qickit.app with the subject Delete my Qick data and enough detail for us to verify and locate the request.
Delete your account in the app
To close your Qick account entirely:
- Open the Qick app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Profile.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
- If you have an active auto-renewing Qick Plus subscription, cancel it first (Profile → membership / manage billing), then delete your account.
Request account deletion by email
If you cannot use the app, email us from the address on your Qick account:
Use the subject line Delete my Qick account and include enough detail for us to verify the request (for example, the email used to sign in). We will process verified requests within a reasonable time.
What is deleted or disabled when you delete your account
When your account is deleted, we remove or disable:
- Access to your Qick account and sign-in
- Your profile and account settings associated with that login
- Access to your personal Qick history, notes, goals and private checks in the app
What may be retained
Some information may be kept where needed for security, billing, legal or operational reasons, including:
- Records needed for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation or legal compliance
- Billing, subscription and tax-related records required by payment providers or law
- Backups for a limited period before they are overwritten
- Public content scores and metadata that are not unique to your account (so the same public link does not need to be rescored repeatedly)
Retention periods vary by record type. We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, then delete or anonymise it where practicable.
